Although you are no longer here physically, I've never felt closer to you. Truly, you were the one that got me through those first days, those first weeks of mourning. You were the one that helped me to sleep by consoling me in my dreams and you still are the one that listens to the thoughts I have that I don't feel like revealing to those around me.Through your passing I was given the parting gift of being able to clearly see you as not just a man but as my Father. This world was cruel to you yet you rose to heights in life that most never come close to.
