This site is dedicated to the memory of our father, Dr Riaz Mansoor

Riaz was born in Wazirabad, Pakistan on April 20, 1955.
He spent most of his early childhood there before moving to the city of Lahore where he attended the King Edward Medical College and graduated with an MBBS in 1971.

Riaz moved to the UK in 1980 and worked in the NHS for the majority of his life until early retirement in 2014. Married to Farah toor, they had four children together, Sarah, Amarah, Mohammad, Hamzah.

Riaz moved back to Pakistan in March 2014 to be close to his parents.

Sadly, Riaz suffered a stroke on the 23rd December 2015 and passed away on the 27th January 2016 in Lahore.

He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family, his three children and his wife who will forever hold him close to their hearts.

Thoughts

My dear AbuG, It’s been 8 years. Sarah says time blunts all blades but your loss still cuts deep. I’ve been working with TaayaG for the last 3 months. We share a benson from time to time which I’m sure you’d disapprove of. But wherever you are, I hope you crack a smile watching your son collaborating with your Lala. Junaid has 2 little girls, Aiza and Amarah. I taught them to “wash the bugga and do the danshee” as you enthusiastically told us. Your work is almost finished, I’m not sure how you receive my decisions but I did my best for your children I hope you’re at peace and I will see you on the road one day inshallah Rab Rakah Dr Mohammad Bilal Mansoor 7757705
